Tumbling has been added most recently to cheerleading. At least within the last 20 years. Tumbling is not mandatory is most levels under High School. In College it is most likely that if you do not have any tumbling experiences that you will not make a college cheerleading team. In this section there are some basic and advanced tumbling skills posted. There is also animations to help understand the definitions.
